Bad Mood! (The)
by Moritz Petz
Age Range: Under_5
“Humph” said Badger when he woke up one morning, “I’m in a bad mood today!” He decides that he had better stay at home, but at breakfast Badger reconsiders. After all, what is the point of being in a bad mood if nobody knows how miserable he feels? So Badger sets out, slamming the door behind him. He spreads his bad mood everywhere he goes, greeting all his friends with angry, rude remarks, which in turn, puts them all in a bad mood as well! By afternoon Badger has come up with a way to get rid of his bad mood, now all he has to do is cheer up the other animals too.
This is a delightful picture book by Moritz Petz, with rich, expressive double-spread watercolour illustrations. An ideal book for young children that explains with humour the experience of being in a bad mood and its effects on others.
