A Crash Course for Molly
by Eva Eriksson
Age Range: Under_5
In A Crash Course for Molly, Molly is learning to ride a bike and she loves it! The only problem is that she keeps running into things. She keeps her eye on the objects in her path – like poles and people – but for some reason, she still hits them. Luckily, she receives some good advice from the local driving instructor.
Eva Eriksson has illustrated many children’s books in Sweden and was the recipient of the Astrid Lindgren Award in 2001. These are delightful stories, accompanied by vivid, humorous illustrations, conveying a simple message that children can learn from and understand.

Book Reviews
ONCE UPON A TIME THERE IS A GIRL CALLED MOLLY. SHE ALWAYS DOES THINGS WITH HER FRIENDS. ONE DAY, Molly and her friends went to the park to teach Molly how to ride a bike without crashing into poles and people. So they begin to teach Molly from the 1st step to the next step until she knows how to look after herself on the bike. One day Molly went to the park and decided not to call her friends so when she arrived at the park she had to use her memory to think of how her friends had taught her to ride a bike starting from the 1st step. And then Molly began to ride and ride so she felt she could ride a bike properly without her friends and without crashing into different things. 5 minute later Molly was still riding her bike and she never looked in front of her so she bumped into a big large stone. So from that day IT WAS WRITTEN AS A CRASH COURSE FOR MOLLY.
