diminished, we are starved’

Flop-Ear and his Friends
by Guido van Genechten
Age Range: Under_5
Flop-Ear has lots of fun playing a variety of games with his friends in the forest. They play balance-the-carrot, fly-a-kite, leapfrog and trains. On a hill, hidden behind a tree, there stands a young, shy rabbit all by himself. He is different from the rest because the markings on his fur are not the same and he is not all one colour. When Flop-Ear sees him all by himself he invites him to join in the fun.
This is a fantastic book for the very young about social inclusion, friendship and tolerance and it also conveys the poignant message that we all have something to learn from others. Flop-Ears is rapidly becoming an international best-selling literary character and there are another three books in the series: Flop-Ear, Flop-Ear and Annie and Flop-Ear is Brave!
