Frog is a Hero
by Max Velthuijs
Age Range: Under_5
Frog is pleased to see the rain but when it continues for several days and the river starts to rise he wonders how his friends are coping. On the fifth day the river bursts its banks and Frog’s house is flooded. He hurries over to Duck’s house which is also flooded and the same with Pig’s house too. They go to see Hare whose house is on an island in the middle of the water. He invites them all to stay until the river goes down. Everything is fine until they run out of provisions and Frog bravely offers to go for help.
