Where's Asterix?
by René Goscinny
Age Range: 9-11
Asterix fans will love this latest Asterix book as they spend hours of fun searching for their favourite characters amidst a variety of fascinating and colourful scenes. Created in 1959, Asterix became the most famous Gaul in the world with some 400 characters and 33 Asterix albums.
It is 50 B.C. and Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans, with the exception of one small village of indomitable Gauls who still hold out against the invaders. But where is Asterix? The most famous Gaul of all seems to have disappeared.
Inside this book are twelve action-packed hilarious scenes featuring Asterix and his friends in a range of different escapades. Asterix needs to be found on every page and the reader will win 2 laurel wreaths. As well as finding Asterix there are additional challenges of finding some of the characters such as Vitalstatistix or Impedimenta. High scores of between 50 and 65 laurel wreaths ensure that the reader can declare themselves a champion. Children (and adults) will have fun trying to find Asterix and his friends.
