This is a gentle atmospheric bilingual picture book that captures perfectly the feeling of a gray foggy winter afternoon and the kind of watchful waiting that will be familiar to any child.
Jorge LujŠnís short poem with one phrase on every page is set out clearly with the bilingual text in different colours and font sizes - the Spanish in black and the English translation underneath in a smaller red font. It is the imaginative illustrations, full of rich colour that makes this such an evocative book as it brings the little girl and her mother closer and closer together.
