Man al ajamel
by Ru'ya Awadah al Hajj
Age Range: Under_5
Man al ajamel was included in the ‘Reading the Way’: Inclusive Books from Around the World Research (2015). The book is not available in English but is referred to as Who’s the fairest? throughout the RtW Research. (Full report in the Education Zone of this website)
Who’s the fairest? is an unusual book in that it features a child who has lost her hair. OIW felt that, while it had some merit in terms of its subject matter, the illustrations were unremarkable and there was nothing particularly outstanding in terms of featuring disability.
