Santa's Littlest Helper
by Anu Stohner
Age Range: Under_5
Santa’s littlest Helper gets very excited about Christmas. He is always the first to wash his sleigh, polish his boots, wrap his beautiful handmade presents and bake his cakes and gingerbread. But every year on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus tells the little Helper that he can’t allow him to deliver the presents because he is
just too small! Sadly he returns home prepared to have a lonely night by the fire. In the evening, when everything is quiet, the little Helper goes for a moonlight stroll in the forest where he makes an exciting discovery!
This is a warm, touching story by Anu Stohner with a lovely message about the Christmas spirit.
The artwork by Henrike Wilson is bold and striking and the characters are emphasised with a black outline contrasting with the vivid reds and whites on the double-page spread.
