Game of Mix and Match
by Herve Tullet
Age Range: Under_5
Match or create a mix. That’s what Hervé Tullet has created in this fun innovative and interactive series of board books that will help to develop and stimulate a young child’s imagination allowing them to explore the basic concepts of shapes and colours. An elephant with the sun, an eye with a ladder or a snail with a lemon. By turning the flaps children can have lots of fun mixing and matching the different pictures. This will provide hours of amusement as there are more than 50 pictures to choose from.
Mix and Match is designed to teach children the various combinations of different images and what happens when you mix them together. The novelty aspect of this book allows them to be used as toys which can be read and played with again and again. Even though these books may appear simple at first glance their unique concept will aid children in the development of reading and literacy.
Others books in the ‘Let’s Play Games’ series published by Phaidon are: The Game of Let’s Go, The Game of Finger Worms, The Game of Mix-up Art, The Game of Light and The Game of Mix-up Patterns.
