When the Earth Lost its Shapes
by Shobha Viswanath
Age Range: Under_5
Many years ago the earth mysteriously lost all of its shapes. Everything became so shapeless and indistinguishable. An orange looked squashed instead of round, paper looked torn instead of in one piece and sticks looked crooked instead of straight. No one could tell things apart which resulted in a lot of confusion.
Only the miniscule dots remained as they had been too small to be stolen. Little Dot is determined to do something about it and sets out to try and restore the shapes of the world.
This is a delightful picture book from, Chennai in India published by Karaldi Tales.Children will really enjoy this heart-warming story by Shobbha Viswanath enhanced by the vibrant colour illustrations in acrylic by German illustrator Christine Kastl.
