Outside In World Translation Statistics

Since the Guide Outside In: Children's Books in Translation was published in 2005, a database of all translated titles in our collection has been maintained.

There are very few statistics available on children's books in translation so we have compiled our own statistics based on the books we have in our database.  This is by no means a definitive set of statistics because we may not have been sent every children's book translated over the years, but it does give a snapshot of what has been published over the years.

As well as the books that are in the Outside In World Collection of Children's Books in Translation at the University of Portsmouth we also add translated titles we come across to our database so these figures are combined to reflect everything we have on our database.
