We are very grateful to our past funders Outside In World launched new web resources in 2012 and 2013 With the kind support of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and in liaison with partners such as the British Centre for Literary Translation Outside In World is delighted to announce the launch of a wealth of new online material for a range of different audiences. Outside In World has identified key needs concerning the development, promotion and enjoyment of books from around the world and is responding to them in the form of dedicated website 'zones' that will feature an Education Zone for teachers and librarians, a Young People's Zone, a Parents Zone and a Book Professionals Zone for publishers and translators. funny pictures funny Reading Round the World The 'Reading Round the World' programme was Outside In World's first major project in 2009. It was funded by the Arts Council of England, with partnership funding from the British Airways Community Investment Programme, Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation, Icelandic Literature Fund, Japan Society, the Swedish Arts Council, The Royal Thai Embassy and the Unwin Charitable Trust. We also received support and sponsorship from Allan & Unwin, British Airways Community and Conservation, Editions Gaillimard (France), FAB Cornwall (Foster a Book), the Goethe-Institute London, Havant Literary Festival, East Sussex Library and Information Services, the Embassy of Iceland, Milet Publishing, Meadowside Children's Books.
