Stories of the Night
by Kitty Crowther, Interpreted by Sam McCullen
Age Range: Under_5
“Tell me three goodnight stories, please, please,” says Little Bear to his mother, so she tells him the story of the Night Guardian, who lives in the woods and makes sure all the animals settle down for the night before she too, settles into a nice comfy bed. In the second story Zhora is in the forest seeking out the most delicious blackberries when she becomes lost. Luckily her friend Jacko Mollo is able to provide her with shelter in his pine-branch tent at the top of the tallest tree. The final story is about Bo, a little man in a huge overcoat which he never takes off, who finds it hard to sleep. After the third and final story, Little Bear at last falls fast asleep surrounded by her new storybook friends.
