Monkey lives in the jungle and is fed up with the constant stream of tourists taking pictures of him. So one day he decides that he would like to take photos too. Gita Wolf’s simple humorous rhyming text makes this an ideal picture book to read aloud, but what really brings this book alive are Swarna Chitrakar’s brilliant patua folk style illustrations from Bengal which are simply stunning. Every page is a feast of rich and vibrant colour and children will never tire of looking at all the different animals of the jungle. Another wonderful book from Tara Publishing.
